Arise & Shine!
Memory Verse: Isaiah 60:1-2 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. Text: 1 Samuel 13:14 (KJV) But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the Lord hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee. Brief: The word Arise! Begets a question from where? For one to arise means the person was either lying down or sitting down or generally down somewhere.. It could also mean a rising from a, location; a place of rest, sleep, weaknes...
